When I retired a few years ago my desire for further education did not stop. So I contacted Huib Ernste (https://hernste.nl), professor at my alma mater, for advice about possible further studies. During our first encounter he suggested me to do a PhD. Now, after some years of studying, writing, re-drafting proposals, and meetings with Huib, I have been admitted to the Doctoral School of the Radboud University of Nijmegen.
